Xpert Fintech Limited, set up in 2021 by leading brokerage houses of the Dhaka Stock Exchange, presented its work and plans at a seminar titled “Bangladesh Capital Market Digitization and Future Challenges” at a hotel in Dhaka on 19 August 2026, Arthosuchak reported.
According to the company, its order management system is in use at 16 brokerage houses, and 45 to 47 percent of DSE's total turnover passes through it, reaching 57 percent at its peak. Its back-office software for brokerages is built and will be released once the regulator approves it. The company also plans a matching engine for the stock exchange and a one-stop service in the capital market, and, later, to become a public limited company and list through an IPO.
Chairman Sumon Das, Chief Executive Officer of Bank Asia Securities, gave the welcome speech, saying local providers cost less than foreign ones and save foreign currency. Director Mohammad Rahmat Pasha, Managing Director and CEO of UCB Stock Brokerage, closed the seminar, saying the company's main aim is to strengthen the market's technical capacity rather than profit.
DSE Brokers Association President Saiful Islam, DSE shareholder director Minhaj Mannan Emon and former DSE president Shakil Rizvi also spoke or attended.
